25th Anniversary show - 2026
Sunday for Sammy 2026
Wow! What a Show!!
After a break of 6 years we returned with our spectacular 25th Anniversary show and what a show it was! Packed full of surprises, a perfect showcase of North East talent, with music, comedy, dance, theatre from emerging young talent to established huge names all sharing the same stage.
Our largest show to date, with a cast and crew of over 330, all coming together to raise funds to support the next generation of talent.
Who was there?
More like who wasn't!
Too many to mention them all but our Patron Matty Healy, Sting, Lewis Capaldi, alongside many of our Sammy friends, Tim Healy, Brenda Blethyn, Rosie Ramsey, Chris Fairbanks, Jill Halfpenny among many other household names. Alongside young talent from SA Performing Arts, Gerry & Sewell, and grantees like Savannah Lily and Emma Ditchburn.

Why do we do it?
Our show helps us fund young talent.
Whilst we all love a good show featuring North East talent, the reason behind all of this is to raise funds and give opportunities to young people, both on and off stage.
Proceeds from the show go towards grants we offer to young people, to fund training, equipment and much more, alongside mentoring, match making and support.
How are we supporting Young Talent
On or off stage, we're proud to help!
Apart from our grants, we want to encourage our next generation of creatives, and give them opportunities to experience the real world of entertainment such as taking part in our show as well as other events we host.
Our show this year had student photographers, chefs, volunteers, dancers and back stage crew all playing a huge part and gaining valuable experience.
It's not just us who loved it!
what did our audience have to say?
Don't take our word for it, there's lots of love for our return show and we're so grateful for it!
Front pages of newspapers, huge reach on social channels and worldwide visitors talking about the amazing North East talent we all know and love.
Check out some of the comments below in our gallery too! You might spot yours in there?
Who comes to watch our show?
Local, far afield, young, old, it's for you!
Our show’s have something for everyone, and have become a family tradition over the years so we have teens coming with their parents and grandparents, or perhaps a group of friends, date nights or even coming alone.
People travel from not just the North East but all over the country and world to join us, this year we had visitors from America, Argentina, Spain and Canada to name a few.
